Terms and Conditions

We are keen to provide our clients with our exceptional services, kindly read the terms and conditions, the applicable controls of local and international standards. We would like to inform our honorable clients of our commitment to abide by such standards and we’d like to ask you as well to abide by these standards. Kindly note that by accessing, browsing and using our website, any of our applications, or our available services through our website or from any window from which you complete your reservation procedures, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the controls and terms stated herein below.

The Company reserves its right in amending these terms and conditions from time to time whether by omission or addition in accordance with the local and international provisions and standards. These terms apply to all our services available online via email or telephone.

Internal Tourism

Term and Conditions:

  • Hotels’ Management requires from its guests to commit to the following procedures:

1- Personal ID for each adult individual above 16 years old.

2- Marriage Contract or the National ID of the wife where the name of the husband is placed.

3- The reservation voucher of the company.

4- Children Birth certificate is to be submitted.

5- Passport for non-Egyptians and documents of residency in Egypt (if any).

  • Hotels’ check-in starts at Two O’clock in the afternoon (14:00).
  • Hotels’ checkout starts at 12:00 Noon. The client shall incur any costs imposed by the Hotel as a result for client’s delay to checkout.
  • Prices do not include any other services except the services mentioned in the reservation voucher.
  • Prices do not include any personal expenses, such as luggage transportation services, room services, usage of items included in the room’s Minibar, laundry, phone calls, early check-in, late check-out, tipping etc.).
  • Triple rooms consist of a double room to which an extra bed is added.
  • All the information stated in the reservations voucher, such as room type, no. of persons, no. of children, children birth dates, or dates of arrival and departure, is the responsibility of the client. Any additional charges or fees resulting from changing any of the aforementioned information upon arriving at the hotel are to be incurred by the client without any liability on the Company.
  • It is necessary to comply with collection points, buses appointed times, as the Company will not be held liable for any delay and buses will move on the appointed times.

Modification \ Cancellation Policy:

  • A written confirmation from the client shall be submitted in reservation cancellation or modification requests during the working hours (From 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM) 24/7 except Fridays and Official Holidays.
  • Fees of reservation cancellation or modification are to be applied according to the date of the cancellation request. The fees can be increased when the cancellation or modification is closer to trip\travel date that would amount up to 100%.
  • Terms mentioned in the agreed flight program are to be applied.
  • As for the trips that include touristic buses transportation and in case of canceling the reservation of seats in the bus before a duration of more than 15 days before the trip\travel date, reservation value for bus seats will be fully refunded.
  • In the event of cancellation cases two days before the trip before 12 O’clock at noon at least (taking into account that this takes place on a working day not a holiday), the amount will be fully refunded.
  • In the event of cancelling the reservation on the appointed trip date, the whole amount will be fully deducted and no refunding rights will be granted.
  • In cases of being late for the trip appointed time, the client will not be entitled to claim arranging another date or delay the trip for another day.
  • If the client traveled without notifying the Company, the client shall be charged for an amount of 100% of the total trip value and he\she shall have no refunding right.

Foreign Tourism

Terms and Conditions:

  • Obtaining Visas shall be the responsibility of the client with the assist of Almazen Tours’ Reservations Official, and client’s presence at the Embassy is mandatory.

The following shall be followed:

– The client shall have a valid passport for six months as of the travel date.

– The expiry date of the passport shall be accepted in all countries accessed by the client.

– More information about visa and passport requirements can be obtained from the Embassy of the country to which the you are heading, or from Foreign Tourism Official in Almazen Tours.

  • Upon travelling to certain destinations, such as: Turkey, Lebanon, certain countries in South East Asia and some other countries, a security permit is required from Security Bodies and Authorities in the Arab Republic of Egypt, especially for males and females from 18 – 40 years old. The client may be charged for part (or whole) of flight price in case if the Egyptian Security Authorities rejected granting him\her the travel security permit. Kindly inquire about the security permit before reserving the flight.
  • If the client submitted a request to obtain a touristic visa to any country and this request was rejected, the Company shall not be held responsible for such rejection. Additionally, the whole pre-paid value for the visa.
  • The client shall incur the whole flight expenses in the event of any failure to travel abroad, or in case of the non-completion of document such as the “travel Permit” (or “Military Exemption”) from the mobilization area for males who are in mobilization age or for any personal reason.
  • Prices of the provided Flight Tickets may not include the individual (personal) expenses, such as: departure taxes (Charter Flights), fees of passengers’ services, or ports or airports taxes imposed from such authorities, airlines bodies, or ports of the Countries to which the client is heading. You may be asked to pay such fees directly to the authorities that impose them.
  • It is preferred for the client to visit his\her Physician to check out whether they need any vaccinations before entering the countries to which they are heading, passing through, or stopping at. Some countries require that you obtain an adequate health insurance. The client is responsible to ensure and complete such requirements.

Cancellation Policy:

The cancellation policy is subject to the terms listed in each program.

Religious Tourism

Terms and Conditions:

  • Full compliance with the controls of the Ministry of Tourism with regards to the execution of the mechanism of pilgrimage (Hajj) and minor pilgrimage (Umrah) systems.
  • As for pilgrimage (Hajj) and minor pilgrimage (Umrah) trips, documents that prove the relationship of the unmarriageable persons shall be submitted and shall be authenticated from the Real Estate Publicity Department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Cancellation Policy:

  • As for minor pilgrimage (Umrah), cancellation fees are applied before a month at least before the trip. Such fees are increased with the approach of the trip appointed date.
  • As for pilgrimage (Hajj), cancellation policy is subject to what is stated by the Ministry of Tourism in this matter concerning the regulatory controls in this regard.

Aviation

  • Announced prices are subject to change according to the time of reservation and the availability.
  • The Company is not responsible for determining the allowed weight by airline companies.
  • In case of changing or cancelling flight tickets, penalties shall be paid (change penalty, tourist-class difference, other penalties for modifying the touristic program of the trip)
  • Almazen Tours is not responsible for any change or modification in the ticket performed by the client in any branch of the airline branches in which the reservation is done.
